A single iron rod bent into an S, with a curl at each end. At the top it holds a shallow dish for a pillar candle. At the bottom it stands on three arched legs with flattened feet. The joins at the top and base are wrapped by hand, and hammer marks show along the length.

It looks as good in silhouette as it does lit, so it can stay out on a mantel or table all year.

Condition: good vintage condition. Wear to the patina around the lower collar, where lighter metal shows through, and small marks consistent with age and use. Stable, no bends or breaks.
