Vintage finds, thoughtfully curated for modern living
to&fro is born from the urge to move more slowly, live more intentionally, and make home feel like home. At its core is the belief that a home should feel personal, warm, and lived-in — not perfect or performative.
The name to&fro comes from the motion of a pendulum — a nod to the rhythms of daily life, the back and forth of routines, stories, and the objects we live with. As each piece moves from one home to the next, it carries a little history, embracing the circular nature of design and making sustainability feel natural, not forced.
Based in the Netherlands and sourced across Europe, we curate hand-picked vintage objects chosen for its form, feeling, and beauty. The collections lean into Scandinavian simplicity, mid-century shapes, and Art Deco elegance — always with an appreciation for patina, character, and the charm of imperfection.
meet the founder
My creative journey began at seven, selling handmade jewelry at the local market with my friends — a small but joyful glimpse into a lifelong love for making and sharing beautiful things.
Though I went on to study engineering, my heart always wandered toward the arts. Throughout childhood and college, I explored every corner of creative expression I could find — from photography and painting to singing, dancing, writing, and cooking. But what truly stayed with me was the feeling of creating a space where people felt at ease, well-fed, and cared for — not just with food, but with beauty, detail, and warmth.
to&fro was born from that love for styling, storytelling, and curating an atmosphere that feels like a big, heartfelt hug. A place where vintage homeware carries stories from the past into your present, helping you create tables and corners that feel personal, lived-in, and full of soul.
I now live in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, with my husband. For any inquiries, feel free to reach out via email at contact@toandfro.store or send me a message on Instagram @toandfro.goods.
