Matte Ceramic Covered Dish
A round lidded bowl on a short stem and a square foot. The lid has a ring of fluting around a turned knob, and there's a single line cut just below the rim of the bowl. It has classical proportions, but they're pared back.
Ceramic with a matte white glaze. Stamped Flora Gouda Holland, with model number 2009. Dutch, mid-century.
It was made as a bonbonnière. Now it works for rings, cotton pads, matches, or anything else you'd like to keep covered on a dresser or shelf.
Height 11.5 cm, diameter 14 cm.
Condition: very good vintage condition. The glaze is clean with no chips to the lid or rim. Light wear and grey marks on the unglazed foot, which you won't see when it's standing.
